Role Of County Commissioner
What do they actually do?
The County Commission is the chief governing body for the unincorporated area of the county and is the legislative body over countywide executive functions (ie: the county attorney, sheriff, assessor, etc). The Commission sets the budgets and rules and policies for those departments.
I have extensive experience running several large organizations with hundreds of members, I have been the chief executive in business, community, and political spheres and will apply those experiences to the executive and legislative functions of the commission.
